Redefining Sin
Sin as described in church, never made much sense to me. “Jesus died for our sins” (he was crucified by the government,) so do not do them. Yet, most of them are still done and are natural. As I studied the enneagram, I started to understand where sin comes from and why it is called that. First, we are all born perfect, yet according to the lens we are predetermined to have, we miss the point. The point is you. Being you, loving you, embodying all that you are is the point. Yet, the sins identified in the church are not the motivation they are only the result, (the coping mechanisms). Sin is what we do to get what we perceive we do not have. When we feel removed from love, wisdom, and wealth, we sin. So simple. God’s desire is for you to have love, wisdom and wealth. Know that in thought, word and deed. Viola, no sin. Know your self, your motivations and divine law. THen the book explains itself.
